Business Development Associate

to join our inside sales team.
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for generating new
business
opportunities within the small business sector for our executives. This is a
highly visible
position which includes the following activities:
- Research and identify prospecting opportunities
- Appointment setting for executive team
- Participation in various marketing activities to drive new sales
- Work closely with our CEO and EVP of Sales on completed sales calls assisting with the sales process and help close business
JOB REQUIRMENTS
- Sales experience in a B2B environment
- Preferably one year of outbound, cold calling experience
- Acute organizational skills, assertive, responsible and ethical
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to articulate in a clear, concise and professional manner
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications
- Prior sales experience in technology industry extremely helpful
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to drive or have reliable transportation to and from client locations and office location.
- Ability to transport a laptop and other presentation equipment.
