Telvent DTN is seeking a Product Manager with a proven track record in an Agricultural-based company to bring new ideas to Telvent DTN, be creative, and challenge the company to move into new markets while further developing our current markets. The chosen candidate will be responsible for expanding Telvent DTN’s agriculture vertical market while working with existing sales teams and product management to expand services to active and target accounts. The Product Manager will also work to increase visibility and enhance the pipeline of new business and relationships. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Manage all dimensions of opportunity and product strategy

·         Collaborate with senior management to develop creative solutions to both internal and customer-based business partners

·         Scope out integrated solutions, determine functionality requirements, and ensure project requirements and client expectations are met

·         Keep abreast of current and future competitive offerings in the agriculture sector

·         Define strategies and tactics to position Telvent DTN as the trusted advisor who understands the industry and can diagnose and solve business problems

·         Drive product roadmap, development life cycle, business requirements definition and product strategy

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         3-5 years Product Management and / or Business Development experience in agriculture market analysis

·         Thorough knowledge and experience with agriculture--producers to agribusinesses, especially grains and livestock

·         Reputation for developing new solutions for industry challenges and strong knowledge of how to use technology to solve problems

·         Proven record of providing input to management teams on new product or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs

·         Knowledge and understanding of products, competitive offerings and market drivers
