AS400 iSeries System Administrator

CSS Staffing, based in Omaha, NE, has an open position with a large local client for an AS400 iSeries System Administrator. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performance tuning and capacity planning on all systems.
• Experience with design and implementation of all systems security.
• Develop and manage backup and recovery processes for all systems.
• Responsible for disaster recovery planning and testing.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• IBM i security.
• IBM i system administration including but not limited to work management, communications, backup/restore, account management, PTFs.
• IBM i system programming (APIs, CL, Commands, Menus).
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Excellent communications skills - written and verbal.

• Assignment Length: 6 Month Contract with option to extend or hire
