As Manager of Application Development you will:

Lead a team of experienced professionals responsible for the application development of business critical web applications;   Have responsibility to plan, develop schedules, and manage all aspects of the development cycle;  Work with other department managers to assure all deliverables match business requirements and have complete and accurate documentation;  Be directly involved with the training department to assist with the development of training materials and validation of training procedures;   Demonstrate knowledge and use of development life cycle techniques;  Deliver projects on time and with superior quality;  Report to the Vice President of Technology,

Experience:

4 year degree in Computer Science or related field with emphasis in project management.

Must have Application Development management experience.

Web development experience with JSP, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Groovy, Grails.

Demonstrated use and knowledge of various quality programs/standards (TQM, ISO, etc.)

Experience managing in an environment utilizing lifecycle and change managment methodologies.

Continuous management experience leading, developing, motivating and coaching.
