Position Description
Product Development Manager
Treat America Food Services, a leader in food service management, provides full service vending and office coffee programs throughout the Midwest. In addition, we manage nearly 100 onsite dining facilities providing food service and catering to business and industry, government agencies, schools, colleges and health care facilities.
We are currently seeking a Product Development Manager for the North Vending Commissary. Based in Omaha, this position is responsible for the development of new product introductions as well as ongoing improvement to existing products and product cycles. This position will work with sales, customer service and vending management to ensure revenue and customer expectations are being met. Manage new products from development to completion. This position will report to the Directory of Commissary Operations.
Position Overview:
- Conceptualize and research new product ideas.
- Evaluate products objectively from a market and financial viewpoint.
- Contribute to product planning and execution in line with market and customer requirements.
- Track trends in new vending product offerings.
Skills and Experience:
- Five years relevant experience in consumer products and customer service.
- Thorough understanding of vending operations and equipment.
- Analytical mind and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High degree of tolerance for uncertainty and risk.
- Ability to take ownership of product and use own initiative to take to completion.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required with some college preferred
