Description

Due to growth in our business, we are looking for several individuals to work in production of food, drug, dietary supplement, and cosmetic products. Duties may include operating light filling and packaging equipment, and preparing products for shipment. Our facility is a clean, climate controlled environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment.

2. Perform specific tasks efficiently and accurately as directed by the Line Leader and

Production Supervisor before, during and after production.

3. Maintain current General Manufacturing Practices to meet corporate standards.

4. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

5. Produce a quality product efficiently.

6. Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

DUTIES AND TASKS

·         Cleans equipment including sweeping and cleaning floors or walls.

·         Dumps materials into machine hopper prior to filling.

·         Loads and unloads processing equipment or conveyance used to receive raw materials or to ship finished products.

·         Counts, codes, or makes boxes for production.  

·         Observes operation and notifies equipment operator/maintenance of malfunctions.

·         Places or positions equipment or partially assembled product for further processing, manually, or using hoist.

·         Read gauges and charts and records data.

·         Removes product, machine attachments, and waste material from machine. 

·         Signals coworkers to facilitate moving product, during processing.

·         Tends equipment to facilitate process.

·         Palletizing finished goods for shipment.

·         Maintains Good Housekeeping Practices.

 ·         Follows all safety guidelines.

·         Accurately label, cap, and box products.

·         Attend safety and general manufacturing practices training.

·         Properly remove trash and dispense in appropriate storage bin.

The qualified candidate must posess a High School education, the ability to lift 100 pounds, and experience in production. Experience in a sanitary environment is a plus. Basic Math skills required.
