GENERAL SUMMARY This person will provide system engineering expertise to help capture new projects and support existing projects for the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS • Design systems and networks based on customer requirements and specifications for communications and security applications.

• Develop cost estimates for these systems and networks including; equipment costs, material costs, and installation costs.

• Work with other engineers in other disciplines to develop total solutions for customers.

• Participate in design reviews and project coordination meetings.

• Generate technical diagrams, engineering and as-built drawings, scopes of work, test plans and procedures, implementation plans, project schedules, and bid packages.

• Interact with subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.

• Write convincing proposal text to describe designs in response to customer requirements.

• Provision, configure, turn-up, and test system components.

• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS Must have a Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 0 – 3 years experience in an applicable field. Must possess a valid driver’s license. In addition must have the following skills:

• Proficient with software tools such as spreadsheets, Microsoft® Word, project scheduling, and computer aided design. • Must have good communications skills, both oral and written.

U.S. Department of Defense secret level clearance will likely be required by the candidate if the department or work location deals with security installation work. Position is located in Omaha, NE. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Omaha.
