Position Description
ITMS Specialist
OMNI Beahvioral Health
Under the supervision of a licensed therapist, the ITMS specialist functions as a member of a treatment team. Services are based upon a team approach and include teaching skills to parents, individuals and providers, monitoring interventions at home, community, school, collecting data and assessing outcomes. The ITMS Specialist will be able to provide crisis assistance through consultation and problem solving 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, on site as needed. The interventions performed by the ITMS Specialist will be performed in collaboration with the intervention team (Supervising Practitioner, ITMS Therapist and others, as needed). The ITMS Specialists will be required to work collaboratively with schools, foster families, parents, Case Managers, the legal system, mental health professionals, and other community resources. The specialist is responsible for aiding the client/family/provider in establishing effective networks (social, communicative, helping, educational), as well as the smooth operation of each family dynamic.
