ITMS therapist will have to perform technical tasks in the area of assessment, treatment monitoring, skill training, data management and or evaluation of program component in a 24-hour facility, community setting or within a treatment service program. The position requires the individual to research, develop and implement, assess and provide short-term intensive treatment services to individuals with developmental disabilities and or mental illness. This therapist performs intensive consultation within a team approach with professionals in a variety of transitional or community settings. The therapist is responsible for aiding the client/family/provider in establishing effective networks (social, communicative, helping, educational), as well as the smooth operation of each family dynamic.
