EMBASSY SUITES LA VISTA is now hiring RESTAURANT SERVERS for day and evening shifts.   

Job Purpose:

To serve meals to hotel guests according to established rules of etiquette.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Serves ice water and/or coffee upon greeting the table
• Presents menu to guest, suggesting dinner courses, appropriate wines, and answering questions regarding food preparation.
• Relays order to kitchen or bar
• Totals bill and accepts payment
• Completes restaurant sidework as assigned
• Bussing tables, completing tray runs and general upkeep of the bar and restaurant
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned

• Must take initiative to great guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Must have a great attitude and excellent customer services skills
• Must report to work on time for scheduled shifts
• Must know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties
• Restaurant serving experience is required
