Qualifications:     Candidate will be a high school graduate with a valid Nebraska/Iowa driver license. The candidate must have a clean driving record without any significant moving vehicle violations in the previous three year period. Must be a graduate of either a respiratory technician or respiratory therapist program and have a valid Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioner license.

Responsibilities:
 

1. Provide delivery, setup, instruction, and follow up to our customers in accordance with infection control, safety, and equipment management policies for the following product categories.

2. Develop and maintain a customer plan of service for any customer who rents the following equipment; ventilator, CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen concentrator, suction machine, or liquid oxygen system.

3. Perform the following diagnostic or therapeutic studies ordered by physicians reporting the results to the ordering physician by phone, fax, and/or mail. Studies include oximetry, nocturnal apnea, and CPAP auto-titrations.

4. Maintain home care records on all respiratory department customers with the assistance of the respiratory department administrative assistant.

5. Complete a daily route sheet and turn in all properly completed customer paperwork with the route sheet each day.

6. Work closely with customer service and billing team members to insure new patients are processed in a timely and effective manner; including obtaining physician orders, CMN’s, test results, insurance information, and diagnosis.

7. Communicate with physicians and other referral sources as needed to insure compliance, problem identification/solving, and customer question resolution.

8. Assist the materials coordinator in inventory control of respiratory products by completing weekly inventory cycle counts and daily monitoring of rental equipment levels.
