Calls are triaged by a Triage RN and calls dispatched accordingly to the Night Shift RN (must reside in City limits of Chattanooga)   to make the visit and respond timely to the territory which includes parts of Harrison, East Brainerd, Ooltewah, Collegedale, Apison, Cleveland, etc. for coverage.  We desire a candidate residing in the service area for ease of visits and reducing drive time to attend to patient needs.  The visit is sometimes  to pronounce a death or comfort a patient/caregiver when a phone call is not enough. Visits are required at any given time of the evening.  Mileage reimbursement is included. You must be dependable, have good transportation, and comfortable traveling at night.  Some weekend rotation is included in the  work schedule.  Night shift RN's are scheduled to be available to work 104 hours during a 2 week period and receive a regular rate of pay for the entire 104 hours.   The rate of pay is not an on-call rate but a full rate of pay.  Full benefit package included.  Offers a lot of flexibility in that you are stationed at home awaiting the need to make a visit.  RN's utilize lap top computers.  This is one of our positions that get filled rather quickly, so if you are interested please fax your resume to  892-8985 with a cover sheet indicating your interest in the After Hours position, or to speed up your process, apply in person to our office on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/ or Thursdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. only.     Please provide a  CPR card, copy of your nurse license, nurse diploma & proof of car insurance.    Come learn why we employ over 300 employees and over 150 nurses.
