Hospice is opening a Sub-Acute Unit in the East Brainerd area the first of the year. It will operate 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. We are staffing the unit with a Team A and Team B, to work 7A to 7P and 7P to 7A rotation, which includes working every other weekend. The weekdays you work one week, are the days you are off the next. There will be approximately 17 private rooms, with 2 RN's, 1 LPN and 2 C.N.A.'s on the floor during all shifts. The C.N.A.'s must have completed the C.N.A. training program and have a minimum of one year of experience completed, with a good work history and be very dependable at getting to work on time and without interruption. You must complete an application, in person, and bring with you a copy of your TN certification, active CPR card, show proof you have car insurance, provide a copy of your high school diploma or GED Certification, and information where you obtained your C.N.A. training certificate. Applications are being accepted on: Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the first three weeks in November. Deadline to apply is Thursday, November 19th, 2009. You do not need an appointment to apply. If you have applied with our company in the last 12 months, you do not need to complete a new application. Just call our office at (423) 892-4289 ext. 114 to notify the HR representative what month during 2009 you applied and your application will be pulled for re-consideration.
