Gathers, analyzes and organizes information, statutes, legislative material, scientific studies, legal pleadings, discovery and other documents relative to their impact on underwriting financial results. Prepares draft underwriting communications and best practices. Monitors own work in regards to delivery of finished product.
Requirements:
- Paralegal certification required with 3-5 years paralegal experience. Insurance industry experience preferred.
- PC literate with working knowledge of Windows software and a thorough knowledge of computerized research software.
- Strong research and information management skills and ability to identify issues investigating and resolving.
- Drafting skills including: correspondence, memos and document summaries (statutes, legislation, scientific studies, claims litigation, depositions and discovery responses), and re-discovery.
