Omaha-based company is seeking a WELDER for the fabrication and installation of industrial equipment.
The preferred candidate will have a basic working knowledge of fabrication and welding procedures, in addition to these other position requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Minimum of 1 -3 years welding experience, preferably wire welding
· Satisfactory DMV record and currently possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL – Class A)
· Ability to accurately measure and read measuring tape
· Ability to travel out-of-state up to 50% of the time often via company flatbed semi trailer
· Ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week and recurrent weekends
· Willing and able to maintain a flexible work schedule that may require the need to work unexpected and non-traditional hours to accommodate the demands of the business
This position also has the following physical requirements:
· Frequent bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping
· Ability to climb ladders, scaffoldings, and manlifts
· Ability to lift in excess of 25 lbs.
· Ability to effectively operate power tools and machinery
· Occasional exposure to airborne fumes
· Occasional exposure to excessive noise
· Occasional exposure to extreme working temperatures (hot/cold)
